NMSU Ch Es recognized in Philadelphia

Arely Torres (Ch E alum 2008) presented her solution to the 2008 AIChE National Design Contest at the 100th Anniversary meeting in Philadelphia, November 2008. Ms. Torres was awarded Honorable Mention for her design and economic evaluation.

Jorge Guerra represented the NMSU Student Chapter to receive the plaque that recognized the chapter as one of 15 selected as "outstanding" during the 2007/2008 academic year.

An entourage of officers and future AIChE leaders assembled to listen to Mr. Guerra give an invited talk at the student session on the topic of Underclassman Outreach.
